We love the beige it is a little lighter than the picture. Nice top- stitch features. Very comfortable. I have not experimented with the five-click lumbar support. I do think if you are short and use the maximum lumbar support you may need a footrest. My husband on occasion needed a second pair of hands. This is a great office chair. Mechanically, this is a much higher quality than most that I have used. It was easy to assemble and works great in the space we needed it for.
