This Metal yard kennel with doors is made very well. Instructions were a bit confusing so I took off one star for that. There is a so many pieces to this. It took an entire afternoon to put together. Im planning to use this for my new chicken run so Im not attaching the dog bowls but the door swing around great and lock in place. The whole structure is very sturdy. Assembly was super easy. Nice quality kennel although I used mine for my Junior chickens to give them a bigger run. The base was easy to assemble. Attaching the mesh wire is definitely a two person job and I highly recommend using leather gloves as there are lots of sharp edges on the mesh for you to get cut. Overall the crate is very nice, putting it together took quite a few hours but it came together. I took a star away because it’s kinda hard to open the front doors without putting your whole arm through the crate bars to unlatch the bottom & top. Also one side of the front crate door hinges didnt properly go in all the way so the doors are a little uneven. I do like the look over a traditional dog crate and it’s a great size for my Australian shepherd blue heeler mix. I appreciate the dog bowls and dog feeder option.. Courtney. Buffalo, NY.
