I wasn’t sure what color to expect based on the item photos. The stock photos show it as both a light and slightly darker color and in real life it’s closer to the lighter color. My biggest complaint is that it doesn’t have the same knots in the wood in real life and it has a rustic white wash which is not shown in any photos and I wouldn’t have chosen it had that been shown. Just finished assembling both of them and they look great! Not sure why they are called "narrow" when they are square! Easy directions, even for a 60+ year old woman. My only disappointment is the artificial textured "grain" that is on the topside and legs, but the underside was left smooth and I like that look a lot better.
