Great starter chicken coop ! Easy instructions 2 people roughly an hour to put together. We decided not to attach the run to the coop as we attached it to our larger chicken run. Okay! SO- first time chicken owner here. We live in Maryland and are raising chicks and ducks from babies. We live in the woods and therefore have a ton of natural predators. The coop on its own is not SUPER sturdy, but not the worst quality I have seen and works well for a yard that slopes. There are some gaps, so we enclosed the top and bottom with hardware mesh stapled into the wood and secured with cement blocks just to be sure everything would be safe, and so far so good! The cover seems like it will be reasonable for the raincolder temps. Used Wayfair assembly service, which was good but it did take 3 men four hours to assemble just FYI. Overall, happy!. Anonymous. All joints are mortise and tenon, 2 x access doors for easily catching your pets. Come, model comes with a rear zinc pull-out tray for easy cleaning.

Great coop! Large and roomy! Easy to put together. The only two complaints are the latches for the doors are not the greatest. We ended up replacing them. We bought this for 8 Duccles. And the nesting boxes are small if you put the dividers in. It gives you 3 nesting boxes on both sides. But you can easily take out the dividers and just have one large nesting box on each side. I think a regular size chicken would find it difficult to nest with the dividers in. The wood seems to be good quality. I like the top screens for ventilation. It has two doors but we will only use the ramp door. I love it overall.. Tamara. College Station, TX. Wed Oct 21 2026

Was easy enough to put together, alone. It's exactly as pictured. I bought it to give my 5 hens somewhere to stay warm this winter. I did not however stop to think about how large my hens are and they will only get bigger. I should have read specs closer and bought bigger. My hens are one of the biggest breeds. Hopefully they will use it this winter. I covered the run to keep too much sun and rain off them. It's also connected to 2 other large runs. Vickie. Silver Springs, NV. Mon Oct 05 2026
