Assembled High Chair

This tall drafting chair helps to improve the quality of your work while providing extra comfort and relaxation. well the first thing that comes to mind is the speed of shipping that came very fast. the chair itself is awesome. I just could not find a comfortable counter height chair for my counter height kitchen table so I was thinking out of the box. I assembled it in probably a half hour to 40 minutes without any problems. I especially like the longer handle allen wrench with the bar at the end of it that made screwing in the screws a lot easier than a little finger allen wrench that you usually get with stuff. all the parts were there all the screws lined up without difficulty. chair is basic with nice coloring and ample padding on chair seat and arms. I am able to reach around while sitting to adjust the lumbar support. this chair has a rocking mechanism which I was not aware of but I havent dialed that in just yet but there is a knob to adjust the rocking mechanism. the height adjustment is pretty straightforward you have to not be sitting on the seat to raise it up. the seat is wide enough so I can sit with one leg under in a cross leg position and that was a big plus for me. the armrests lift up fully out of the way. I have lvp vinyl in the kitchen so these caster wheels slide across very easily. the foot rest is also what I had to consider and this one is perfect. all in all this is a perfect chair for my counter height kitchen table and it supports my wide load without difficulty.. Just purchased these for my billiard room. Im 65 270 lbs. so finding comfortable furniture is not always easy. Assembly was not a problem. We bought the Diamondback Solid Wood 24" Counter Stool in Mahogany and we LOVE them! I do wish I had bought the 30" inch stools, but hind sight is 20/20, isn't it? You really cannot tell how it would fit without seeing it in person; honestly, it would be helpful if Wayfair put the both sized stools up to the counter in a photo. For now, you have me telling you, that if you are buying this for the Dodge Kitchen Island, and especially if you are putting the wheels on that island which puts the counter at 38" high, consider buying the 30" inch stools, Ok? The Mahogany stools are not as dark as the counter top, but the black would not have matched either, soooo . . . it is what it is; we still love them because they are GORGEOUS !! You will love them too! If you do buy the 24" inch stools, know that they will be easier for your kids to climb into.
