Update: Wayfair immediately shipped a replacement lamp and the replacement arrived in perfect condition. My wife and I really like this lamp and appreciate Wayfair replacing the damaged lamp so quickly. Original Review: The mica on the lamp shade was damaged in several places. The packaging was perfect and the shade was probably damaged before it was packed. Second, the paint which covers the dragonflies on the base looks very good when the base light is off, but looks thin and poorly applied when turned on. Whew! I was indecisive for a while whether or not to get this lamp but I bought it when it was more reasonably priced and so glad I did. It has weight, it's beautiful, and looks better in person, in my opinion. The shade is beautiful as well, great quality. I've attached some pictures of it, one of the pictures with a painting in the background looks more 'yellowish' but that's due to the filter I added as it was an Instagram picture and I do use warm white bulbs. It’s nice that the on off switch is on the cable and not the light socket. My only reservation is that the design of the lamp base is not illuminated.
