I like the rug but the first one I ordered was shockingly small upon arrival. I recommend you read the descriptions carefully and draw or tape out the dimensions before ordering. The pattern on this rug is absolutely beautiful and very elevated-looking. It visually opens up my space and adds a soft, elegant feel to the room. However, I didn’t give it a full 5 stars due to a few quality-related caveats. First, the overall pattern is quite light, and depending on the lighting and angle, parts of the rug can appear more washed out than expected due to a slight sheen in the fabric. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but something to be aware of. As another reviewer mentioned, the base color also reads brighter white in person. I was hoping for more of a true ivory tone paired with the rose pattern, but it leans more bright white with subtle beige detailing. The rug is also very thin, so I definitely recommend using a cushioned non-slip rug pad underneath. I do wish it felt softer and more substantial underfoot, and one edge arrived slightly uneven. That said, none of these were deal-breakers for me given the lower price point. Overall, the design is gorgeous and looks far more elevated than expected for the cost—just keep in mind that some compromises in material quality come with the affordability. This rug in beige definitely reads more gray than beige or white in person, which worked out perfectly — it matches Sherwin-Williams Morris Room Grey (SW0037) beautifully since it’s still a warm gray. The pattern has lots of very subtle colors, including brown, steely blue, and rust/burnt orange, which add depth and interest without overwhelming the space. It rolled out fairly nicely after a couple of days — I used hand weights to help flatten it. There’s a very slight fringe, but it hasn’t caused any issues with my robot vacuum. Also, there was no smell when unrolled. We’re using it on hardwood in a cozy living room and paired it with the Wayfair Basics Non-Slip Rug Pad 1/4″ underneath, which adds a bit of cushion and keeps everything in place. This rug is very pretty. It's inexpensive so I don't expect much. I already owned the Albertson since 2019 and it's beginning to fade. I cleaned it with a home rug cleaning machine. However, these 5' x 7'6" rugs do not measure the same. the Fleckenstein is about 1.5 inches shorter than the Albertson, which does make a difference in my entry space. Annoying.. Sharon.
