A compact, clean-lined buffet that blends classic Shaker styling with everyday storage. Finished in a subtle woodgrain, this 31.5" sideboard features a roomy top drawer and a double-door cabinet with an shelf — perfect for linens, dinnerware, media accessories, or entryway clutter. Round knobs and paneled doors add a touch of contrast and timeless appeal.

We purchased three oak cabinets to make a buffet. All came in perfect shape due to excellent packaging. Instructions are easy to follow pictures, but we found that putting hinges on panels 2 and 3, right from the start made it easier to put doors on at the end, since it’s hard to screw on when everything is put together. The trick at the end is to make sure the hinges are in closed position then place door holes over hinge, as if the door was completely closed. Then slowly open the door and the hinge will be in correct position to screw the remaining screws on door backside. Also double check that panel 5 is in correct position with locking mechanism near panel 4, otherwise you will have the holes of the mechanism on the top side of the shelf when finished and will have to use oak stickers to cover up the silver hardware. Short version: It looks great, was mostly easy for 2 people to assemble, has a lot of storage space, and is best used in a low-traffic, low/moderate use area. I also recommend buying it on sale if you can wait. Long version: The good: It’s very attractive and looks more expensive than it is, especially at a distance of a few feet (closer up you can see that it’s particle board/fake wood). The storage space is significant and convenient. Some reviewers have complained about gaps between the doors but if you google “how to adjust overlay hinges,” you can fix that easily. The need-to-know: *If you’ve assembled furniture before, this will be easy. If you’ve never assembled furniture, this has good instructions but give yourself half a day and know that some details are tricky. 2 people is ideal but one can manage with patience and care. Be extremely careful with the pieces, as the particle board is prone to nicks and dings on edges and corners. The doors can be adjusted to look better, but will probably never be perfect, so if that will bother you, be aware! *It has small notches in the top back for cords—pro tip, put your cords in place before you install the top, as the plugs themselves don’t easily fit through. We put a power strip inside using this method and that’s really nice and convenient. *This is NOT for children’s rooms or high-traffic areas, because the particle board WILL get dinged and banged quickly. You also don’t want people putting water glasses on it and it would not be a good surface for plants. *The sides and back go ALL the way down to the floor, which is a little unusual and could make it stick out from the wall more than you want it to, especially if you have wide moulding or cords behind it. The process of receiving these was frustrating. They come fully assembled but after traveling across the country, both cabinets we ordered were very damaged. Wayfair offered us a credit but I couldn't use them, that is how damaged they were. They made us pack them back up and schedule a pickup and then they sent us 2 new cabinets which were surprisingly fine. The cabinets are beautiful but the doors are slightly off as you can see from the photos. They did have a smell that took a couple of weeks to dissipate.
