This was a great purchase that I made. Delivery was fast and nothing came damaged as it was packaged perfectly. At first sight it didn't look like Terracotta, but once I saw it in brighter light, I definitely saw the Terracotta color. The details of this set was perfect and the set is durable. These pasta bowls are very beautiful. They are obviously high quality. The weight is nice, and the borders are thick enough so chipping shouldn’t be a problem. We excitedly unpacked our bloomhouse stoneware. And we were impressed. The plates and bowl have a feel of solid quality. We purchased this brand of dinnerware because of the large broad bowls. The dark color combination is so pleasing to the eye. We are so looking forward to using them. No problems with their shipment as they were carefully delivered directly into my building. I was impressed that the packaging had only recyclable cardboard and no plastic foam. The artwork on the box was so impressive that I am going to incorporate a panel of the box in my restoration project. I did enjoy reading the enclosed card from the designer. The design looks traditional and festive. There were a few small imperfections on some of the dishes—tiny bubbles and slight inconsistencies in the finish—which is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. They aren’t major enough for me to return it, but they are noticeable up close.
