This beautiful and realistic-looking expandable hedge completely changed the view from my kitchen window! I am so happy that I am buying a second one for my upstairs balcony. For a larger area, this is so much easier than buying small squares separately and attaching them all. That being said, you do need something to attach the zip ties (which are included) around the bamboo backing to hold this up. If you aren't attaching to a railing with supports, and you're attaching to wood, you could use hand screw-in eyes or even open cup hooks to support this. This took me all of 5 minutes, and it felt secure with only 4 zip ties, but I ended up using a few more because they include 10. For my large area, I needed to expand it all the way out, so if you don't need to go this wide, it will look even fuller. This is heavy-duty and looks very realistic with the bamboo branches and different shades of green. There are both curled and flat leaves. I finally bought a version of an indoor “green wall”! I’ve been wanting something like this for years, and this was a nice way to dip my toe in the water. It weighs a little over 11 pounds (I checked for hanging it), and has a nice, black metal frame to finish the exterior of the circle. The plants arrived compressed, so I took some time to fluff them back outward (not unlike that faux Christmas tree you pull out each year). I think it’s very fun, that “plants in the background” feeling for the space- without having to keep plants alive! The hardware on the back, for hanging, sits at about 10 2 (if you view the piece like a clock), but there’s also a ridge on the underside of the black frame, so a solid hook in the wall catchesholds it nicely (I opted for this instead of putting two holes in the wall with the 2 nails that arrived with it). Arrives with 2 hanging nails, small tape measure, small level. One box of these hedges has 12 in it, and I wound up only using 6 to cover my patios fence. The zip ties that come with it are very cheap, thin, and hard to use. They WILL work, but just like the other reviews say, I also recommend getting your own zip ties separately. The ones in my picture are what I had left after using 612 tiles. The fence in my picture shows how much the tiles will be hiding, my actual patio from the parking lot. I have a purple grow light shelf for my houseplants on the other side so that should give you a good idea of how well they work with a white sheer curtain (also from Wayfair). I originally put them up so I could wear my pajamas on my patio without being gawked at. They make me feel safe and hidden. Would give 5 stars if they had sent better zip ties.. Elizabeth.
