Actual palms are notoriously difficult to keep alive. I went through 2 of them before finally deciding to go artificial—one of the best decisions regarding houseplants, especially here in Seattle where there’s limited sunlight a lot of the year. This bamboo plant is lush and lovely. I have it in my bathroom to compliment a zen-like meditative photo with running water, black slick rocks and candles. It is so well made and hard to believe that it is not real. The branches are pliable so you can keep them straight and dense or bend them around for a more full and relaxed look.
