Beautiful panels, they make a super stylish setup. I purchased 6 of them for my deck, they arrived w/o scratches or hits on 2 per box arrangement, very well packaged. Now, these panels are made of some sort of wood, it is hard but easy to drill on, I used a 1/8th countersink bit with a tapper and fixed them to the side of my deck using #8 x 1 1/2" construction screws. They are about 3/8" thick, so I added a 0.665 x 1" vinyl strip behind it, to make it flush with the siding of the decking material which is 1". I also added some black landscape fabric behind to give the depth of the openings on the design and prevent bugs from entering. The result is a very unique deck which we love. Instructions say that the wood will age to gray naturally, I like it dark brown as it is, so I'll be adding some matte clear coat to prevent the aging process. Easy to put together but I would prefer either stainless or matching hardware versus the zinc that was provided. The privacy screens arrived yesterday and I opened one of the boxes today. There are 3 panels per screen to fasten together, and the legs to attach. Hardware was provided, as were the instructions. Arrived very quickly with no damage during shipping. Excited to get the 5 screens assembled and the oxidation process to begin. I will be using them in my courtyard around the hot tub for privacy. I compared these from many places and decided to buy from Wayfair because of cost, and Ive bought from Wayfair many times before (and have had hot and miss experiences, but if I actually get the item, it has been fine). They are nice looking and fairly sturdy, although they fell over in a windstorm, despite the metal stakes that come with them. The biggest problem is that I think the reddish brown color just does not exist. I got what looks like the brown color. The boxes say reddish brown, but that is clearly not what they are. I saw reviews elsewhere that said the same thing. I paid more for the color I wanted and didnt get it.
