These are good looking sturdy shelves for the price. They work for my purposes but aren't the finest of finishes. Some of the powerdercoating on the metal arches/supports was scratched/flaked off. It's not very noticable unless upclose and looking but the two I ordered came like that out of the box. The bolts are also noticable which isn't the most luxurious of finishes.. Christina. My only "change" to the provided instructions is attaching the shelves; it is much easier to lay the piece on it's back and screw in the 6 screws per shelf than it is to stand on your head and do it upside down! This was exactly the bookshelf I was looking for! It arrived within just a couple of days and unpacking was pretty simple and pieces were well labeled.
