I have owned 2 other car ports that collapsed under the weight of heavy snow. When I unboxed this carport I could see the differences, from the high quality steel square tubes big round bars and the quality of the tin for the roof. The Livestock Portable shelter was very easy to put together and provides very good coverage for any livestock. We have horses and I find this shelter perfect for them. Interestingly enough the day after we set it up we had wind gusts up to 60 mph and it held up perfectly fine. Decent brackets for the money. Pros: Affordable. Dimensionally they are very consistent. Cons: I did have one start to separate at the top. I don't fault the bracket. I believe it happened when we were trying to stand the Pergola. I did order some corner braces as well to keep everything from swaying. One tip I would give is make sure you check fitment with your lumber before you assemble. I had to sand all of my pressure treated posts and check fit. Surprisingly sturdy- it was easy and straightforward to assemble it, I didn’t use their tools but my own to make a quicker set up. The only tricky part was trying to assemble it on top of the gate which is a little bit hard to line up and secure but once it was on - I think it will hold, this could be a great cover for chickens too but I’m using it for the horses and hope they will use it.
