This flooring is perfect for the entry area of our house. Initially I was skeptical about ordering 'vinyl' type flooring - we had just put in new hardwood floors (acacia) which is pretty 'stout' and I didn't want something flimsy tying into it especially in a high traffic area. This Engineered Tile is definitely not flimsy, more like slate. I use a wood stove as my primary heat, so this entry sees a lot of heavy traffic and this tile handles it. I would buy it again.. Much thicker than some of the other stick on tiles I've used. also great color. only negative thing I have is that some of the top thin plastic will come off if you have to cut them different size. Picture doesnt do it justice. This tile is beautiful and looks very high end. The surface has a nice texture to it and not that cheap glossy stuff. Mannington also has grout specific to their products as well as a sealer. You can lay it down with or without grout. We are doing without. I could not find any pictures online of what it would look like not using grout so once our contractor installs Ill take another pic and post it. We chose the flex line because we have an old house and there is a hump in the floor from the structural wall underneath. LOVE this tile! I got it in the "Nero" color. it's the perfect old world look, has an English or European style to it that feels timeless. The faux grout lines hold whatever color grout you choose, which makes the whole pattern blend in so well.
