Nice bookcasecabinet. It does require a lot and assembly but it’s the same process twice…identical cabinets stack. It is sold wood but a bit thin. It was easy to assemble with 2 people. You almost need 2 people once is starts to be mostly together. That pressed wood can be heavy. It has that cheap backing but it all fit together well. We were able to adjust the doors so they closed nicely and then to get the seam between the doors to be small and straight. It took almost 2 hours. Looks great, sturdy, but overengineered in some places while underengineered in others. The good part: 1) Looks great 2) Lots of storage space 3) Can move shelves around to create bigger/smaller spaces The bad: 1) Assembly took forever. I don't understand why you need three screws for each hinge door and then three additional screws to attach to the side panel for EACH hinge. Two is the standard for a reason. 2) Don't understand why most of the screws are black, the door stoppers are brown, and the magnets and door screws are silver. My husband is in the construction business and does a lot of woodworking projects as a hobby. Even so, it took the two of us almost three hours to assemble. OK..Well I went back and forth with cabinets...Studied them all for days, and tried to remove the ones I found that were metal. I wanted 6 shelves, and these were taller than the rest and matched the Wonston Porter drawers that I purchased days before, so I thought they would be the same. BUT THEY ARE METAL.
