We are using this as a shoe cabinet. Wayfair calls it a bookshelf, but I don’t think I would ever recommend it for books — the shelves are not adjustable and are way too short for books. They are perfect for our shoes, though! Even our boots fit nicely on the taller shelves. I am giving four stars because the construction of the doors, though cute, is not very sturdy at all. If you have active pets or kids I think they’re likely to break easily. Hopefully ours hold up since it’s in an out of the way location in our home, but only time will tell. The directions to assemble this were SO CLEAR and easy. It says it’s easier with two people and additional tools, but I found it was still very easy with one person assembling and with just the tools the provide. Beautiful piece and seems of good quality however, the legs didnt easily screw in. Thus the 3 star. So I replaced mine with another set of legs and had to drill new holes which wasnt really a problem. Im female and not handy at all but figured out how to assemble this and how to attach new legs.
