Arlet Handknotted Wool Rug

The Serapi Collection reinterprets traditional tribal geometric design through a refined palette. Each rug is hand-knotted from hand-spun lamb’s wool, creating a soft underfoot feel. Natural variation in the yarn introduces depth and tonal variation, while vegetable-based dyes produce a warm, earth-toned palette. A patina gives each piece the appearance of an aged Serapi rug. Designed for traditional and transitional interiors.

Excellent quality. Really beautiful rug. I love it. And I thought the price was very good as well.. Christie. Wichita, KS. Fri Mar 28 2025

This rug features a classic and refined Oushak design, with a more muted and aged appearance. The base color is a soft, faded cream or beige, with an intricate medallion in the center that is outlined in soft greys and pale blues. The outer edges of the medallion gradually blend into the background, creating a smooth transition of colors. The border is a mix of soft terracotta and light grey, adorned with stylized floral and geometric motifs. The entire rug has a distressed finish, giving it an antique, vintage look while maintaining a sophisticated and calming vibe.

Such a beautiful rug in exactly the colors shown online! It’s made from high quality hand-knotted wool & will be a stunning accent with a new leather bed that’s been ordered.. Tracey. Maumee, OH. Thu Jun 25 2026

Hand-knotted and double-washed, this rug features an ornamental design that catches the eye, and the deliberate gray and blue palette strikes a unique color balance. The hand-spun New Zealand wool blended with art silk give a delicate sheen and softness underfoot. Reminiscent of a traditional Turkish floor covering, this attractive and memorable will contribute beauty and style in nearly any setting.

This Oriental area rug grounds your home with a classic medallion motif and traditional styling. It provides a plush, comfortable foundation that seamlessly updates the floors in your space without overpowering existing decor. Crafted entirely from wool, the thick natural fibers offer built-in resilience against everyday wear while maintaining a textured underfoot layer. The intricate border accents bring a sense of refined balance to its detailed composition. It also features a canvas backing that provides extra structure and stability to help the piece lay completely flat across your floor.

Very pleased with rug purchase as it was well wrapped when shipped in few protected layers. Rolled out flat due to it’s weight really, this is well made and heavy rug that believe will last years.. Ron. Ocala, FL. Fri May 15 2026

The rug looks even better in person! I really love it! My only problem was that the rug was very late. I don’t blame the driver because she had 161 deliveries that day.. Joyce Martin. St Augustine, FL. Sat Jul 25 2026

This handmade area rug has a classic look that adds a boho aesthetic to your space. Hand-knotted from a blend of wool and cotton, its natural materials offer cushion as well as resistance to stains and moisture. The design features a timeless, central medallion pattern with botanical and geometric shapes in bright hues of red, blue, yellow, navy, and green. The short fringe on either end adds some fun texture. With a thick 0.67'' pile height, this rug is great for rooms that need to feel cozier but aren't high in foot traffic like a family room or den. We recommend adding a rug pad for stability (sold separately).

This rug is beautiful, thick, hand knotted, wool and on par with the 5-6k rugs at the import rug shop in town. Very beautiful. I expect it to be an heirloom.. Rebecca. Salt Lake City, UT. Sun Sep 06 2026

Really nice rug. We wanted a very low pile and it is beautiful. It does have a slightly more green tint overall than the pictures indicate, but that is simply how to photographs. Even the pictures I take of it don't show the same greenish gold tint. It is a really beautiful. It almost looks vintage.. Joel. Omaha, NE. Tue Apr 06 2021

Like sun-baked ruins along the Mediterranean, the Sandstone Taupe rug exudes relaxed sophistication. A mellow taupe field sets the stage for watercolor washes of coral, aqua, and lavender—tones that feel both nostalgic and now. Painstakingly hand-knotted from hand-spun wool-viscose yarns, the rug marries centuries-old craftsmanship with a light-infused palette, promising to age as gracefully as the artifacts that inspired it.

Good quality construction. Very nice, soft colors, though the background taupe is somewhat darker than expected and there is more yellow/gold than expected, creating a warmer overall look. The weaving pattern has faded horizontal striping, similar to the very inexpensive rugs that are everywhere today, which makes it overpriced in my opinion. The dimensions are also off, not a lot, but enough that it doesn't work well in my space (9'1"x 11'9") but that length also includes a total of 3" of fringe which makes it too short for my room. It's hard enough to risk buying rugs online, but it's very frustrating when ACTUAL dimensions are not provided.. Patricia. Jacksonville, FL. Fri Jun 19 2026

Elegant floral patterns drift across a slate-gray ground touched with teal and soft neutrals, echoing the charm of classic Oushak textiles.

Colors are true to picture and perfect in my entry way. The pile height is not .5 inch as described but still okay. The loop is not what I expect from an expensive wool rug, but it will since the coloris just right i will keep it. .. Calliehart. Willow Park, TX. Fri Aug 21 2026

Love this carpet. The weave is very dense, and it feels comfortable under bare feet.. Vivian. ON. Thu Oct 05 2023

Stunning rug!! I was a little hesitant to get this rug because rugs are hard to photograph accurately. It did not disappoint! The rug arrived neatly packaged, and the red has minimal shedding. The colors are classy and match the pictures exactly.. Cristina. Arlington, VA. Fri Aug 21 2026

The rug is exactly as pictured and the colors work well for my dining room. There are more green tones than blue, which shows as very light blue.. Susan. Centerville, MA. Fri Sep 11 2026

This stunning, hand-crafted design will be the standout centerpiece of any room. This rug embodies a timeless elegance with its soft, earthy tones and intricate, vintage-inspired motifs. The primary color is a muted beige, complemented by delicate accents of golden brown, ivory, and subtle blue highlights. The design features traditional floral and vine motifs with medallion elements that are symmetrically placed across the rug, evoking a classic, antique aesthetic. Hand-knotted with high-quality wool, this rug has a soft texture and refined look, making it a sophisticated addition to any space.

I love this rug. Excelleng quality. The color is soft and muted. The design has more definition and blue than I was expecting from the stock photos. I actually like it more. Very pleased with my purchase.. Sunny. Fort Worth, TX. Sun Sep 06 2026

This is very beautiful- even better than the pictures.. Elise. Manchester, NH. Wed Jan 14 2026

This hand-knotted wool rug brings a serene meadow-like charm with its airy sky-blue palette and scattered botanical motifs. Earthy browns and warm neutrals soften the design.

I am obsessed with this rug! It is absolutely beautiful, the quality is excellent, and I really appreciate that it is made by hand. I originally bought the 2x3 size for my bathroom vanity and loved it so much that I ordered a second one for beside my bed. The colours are gorgeous. They shift subtly depending on the lighting and how much natural sunlight is coming in. I’ve included photos to help with colour matching. In the bathroom, where I first put it, this rug looks amazing and complements the log walls and my cotton shower curtain in the colour bone perfectly. On the bed, the rug is layered over an organic percale quilt in hazel chambray (recently purchased from Wayfair), along with a chenille windowpane throw in flax. At the foot of the bed, you can see a 4x6 moss gray/stone rug that I bought from Wayfair five years ago. Finally, on the floor by the bedside, I’ve placed this 2x3 rug right next to a 2x3 version of the moss gray/stone rug for a side-by-side comparison. Compared to the moss gray/stone rug, this wool rug is about ¼ inch thicker and feels more "plush" underfoot, while the other has a slightly silkier texture and shorter fringe. I love both styles of rugs. Highly recommend!. Roxanne. Ontario, Canada. Mon Aug 24 2026

Love it! No smell. Arrived on time. It’s a funky color, not blue, or green, or teal. But I love it. I was trying to blend with a sage green run and it’s fine I think. 9x12.. Melanie. FL. Mon Feb 24 2025

I was concerned about the muted colors, but I love it!. Cynthia. US. Sun Aug 30 2026
