Additionally, they glide up and down easily, are a breeze to open and can be positioned at different angles for the perfect amount of shade, any time of day. Did I mention they are rated for up to 30mph winds? But the best part is that they rotate 360 degrees by stepping on the foot pedal! No matter what time of day it is, you've got sun protection. These umbrellas are worth every dollar and I just can't say enough about them. We also purchased the optional 3 year insurance plan in case of incidentals. Okay so here’s the thing: this came without the base so I literally can’t tell you how it performs outside yet. That said, the umbrella itself? Quality. Steel frame, weather-resistant fabric, decent weight to it (15.2 lbs), crank lift system feels smooth. The octagonal shape with the drape edge detail is cute—gives it that upgraded market umbrella vibe instead of the basic look. The beige color is exactly what it looks like online. Pole diameter is 1.5” so standard if you’re sourcing your own base. Once I actually get a base and test it through some real sun/wind (it’s rated for 16 mph), I’ll update with the actual performance. But from a quality standpoint? This thing is built to last.. Khifindsit. Connecticut. Sat Jul 04 2026
