The arbor is beautiful and strong. I gave it 4 stars because there is an issue. The lattice is made of very thin cedar (less than 1/4 of an inch) and it is stapled together. A few or the staples came loose during assembly and will need to be redone. I am considering adding stronger cedar boards on the sides to strengthen it. At this price point, I think the manufacturer should have used stronger wood for the lattice. There were also a few bumps and marks, but these were minor. This is a Beautiful garden entrance arbor. I am in the process of putting it together so the picture doesn’t show the finished gate. It arrived with some broken pieces so I knocked off a star for broken pieces. It’s soft wood and I’m not sure how long it will last in the Texas elements but it’s very pretty and the color matches my fence. It’s a little wobbly so I’m going to dig it into the ground for it to be more sturdy. I’m using it to create a divide from my ugly side yard and I’ll be planting grapes over the arbor and I think it will look very pretty. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this arbor it is nice wood and the color is very nice as well, I would advise you determine and measure first the location you want this to be placed as it is bigger than you might think. Overall it seems well made and easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The one question about when the arbor could be painted was answered by the company very promptly. The only negative was that two of the 4" lag screws used to attach the top of the arbor to the sides sheared in half while being "manually" screwed in with a hex screw driver. Had to get replacement bolts to finish putting it together. Strongly suggest you get some extra hardware and return to the store if not needed. Very happy so far ( 2days) with the final product.. This arbor is exactly what I wanted for my native honeysuckle: solid wood, salt treated, not flimsy. Rounded edges, anchors included. I have very sandy soil where I put this arbor so I had to use extra anchors: 4 foot rebar pounded almost 3 feet in, and I think that'll do unless we get some serious weather. Im so excited to put this together and set up the garden. The packaging came in easy to move pieces. I’ll update the review with photos once it’s all set up. Update this was a lot of work to put together but definitely worth it.
