It’s exactly what we wanted. Just a heads up, it's medium height, not a tall bookcase. We have a low TV stand with a 65" TV on it, and putting this next to it makes them about the same height. The finish is pretty much what you’d expect for the price, super balanced. It definitely has some character. The lights are magnetic and USB-rechargeable, so you don't have to worry about running a cord from the unit to an outlet. The inside shelves are adjustable. I’d recommend going with Wayfair Pro for the assembly; it’s not impossible to do it yourself, but it’s a long process and you'll need two people at some point. I haven’t styled the bookcase yet, but am pleased with the look. Delivery had me nervous the end of the box was open and I just knew there would be broken or missing pieces. However, there was no damage to the piece. I put this together myself in about two hours. The directions were clear and easy to follow. The most difficult step is bending the arch piece and keeping it in place while installing the cover piece. I’m sure that part would have been easier with someone helping.
