This lamp is beautiful, but was EXTREMELY difficult to put together. The holes in the marble base did not line up with the screws. Luckily, I’m married to a handy engineer and he reworked it somehow. But then it wobbled, so he had to add some shims. The shade was a whole other story. I read a review that was very helpful or I may have never figured that out. This floor lamp is a nice addition to the room and provides good lighting for reading, crafting, or other tasks. The chrome finish gives it a clean, modern appearance, and the overall design is attractive without taking up much visual space. One thing to keep in mind is that the bulb is very visible as part of the design.
