Came in one box very quickly and everything was packed in the storage compartment at the bottom of the bed...The bed is pretty straightforward to put together - took me by myself about 1 hour total and its pretty solid and sturdy. My son loves that metal/faux leather/wood look and its nice to have outlets and space for phone etc at the top of the bed and storage at the bottom.
