I’m mostly happy with this item. The colour was slightly off from what I expected, I thought it would be a dark teal based on the photos, but it’s more of a navy with a slight green tone. It still works ok with my space. The detail on one front door is clean and smooth, but the other door is pretty rough cut, not sanded. And they did a pretty shoddy job of painting it, definitely needed to spray it from all angles. There’s also a little crack in the wood near a hinge, so I hope it holds up. All that being said, I know it’s not a super high end piece and I am happy with what I got for the money. I really liked how all of the screw holes were not just wood but had threaded inserts, makes the connections sturdy. This also helped with the time involved in putting it together. One more thing , when I ordered it the description said that the legs screw on so I bought it with the hope of being able to change out the legs for something longer. Absolutely love this sideboard! We took a long time to decide what to get for our front entry as it is a big space and we wanted something that was quality. The rest of our house has pops of color and our entry is connected to our open living space, so we wanted to add some color to this space and the blue was perfect (matched the rest of our house perfectly!). Quality was important so we were okay spending a little extra, and we are so glad we did because all of the pieces are solid and will last a very long time, it’s high quality. Since my husband was sick I assembled by myself, and it took maybe 1.5 hours which is what would be expected for this type of furniture. I would say it is intermediate level, but directions were fairly clear (I had one hiccup with which hinges to put on which doors, but I figured it out).
