This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. I’ve had this couch for about two weeks and would give it 3 stars. I ordered the beige, and the color is pretty accurate to the listing photos. I will admit that I didn’t realize when ordering that this is a completely frameless couch. It arrives fully vacuum sealed and is essentially made entirely of foam/cushioning with no internal frame or structure. It was very easy to unpack and took about 24–48 hours to fully expand. Unfortunately, my first impression was that it looked and felt pretty cheap. The fabric has a very synthetic feel and had a noticeable smell when first opened. Even after fully expanding, the couch is much more wrinkled and less full and structured than it appears in the listing photos. I think you would need to spend quite a bit of time steaming and working with the fabric to get it to look closer to the photos. Comfort-wise, it’s comfortable enough at first, but the lack of a frame becomes noticeable the longer you sit on it. You gradually sink into the foam and the couch starts to lose its shape and structure underneath you. This is especially noticeable toward the ends, where putting too much weight in one area can cause the couch to lean forward to the point where it almost feels like you’re falling off. Overall, it’s functional and relatively comfortable, but it definitely looks and feels like an inexpensive couch. If you’re looking for something casual and don’t mind the completely frameless construction, it may work for you. If you’re expecting the fuller, more structured look shown in the listing photos or something that feels like a traditional sofa, I would probably look elsewhere.. Brittnie. Jersey City, NJ. This is a very cute little couch. It was pretty easy to put together; although, I accidentally damaged one of the legs when I put it on. It is slightly bigger than most loveseats. The fabric is soft and the cushions are squishy. For the most part, it is comfortable. I would like it better if the back cushion support came up a bit higher. Overall it’s a nice piece of furniture. OH MY this couch is PERFECT for me. I bought it in the EARTH color and it's really a great sand color (without being too brown or gold). It's not at all gray if it looks that way in the photos. The photo from straight forward in front of it is most accurate for color. You can see that it goes with my rug 100%! (rug is from Amzn only $99! by the way). YES, it's VERY VERY firm and I love that. I'm femal and 60 with a not so young lower back (kind of cranky) and since the parts were pretty light I could put it together all by myself! (and I never do anything by myself). Don't let that fool you. Inside is a very well cut and sturdy/thick HARD WOOD (no cardboard or metal bars) so that was reassuring. I'm so happy with it I can't stop happy dancing. The instructions were simple to follow. Only once did I have to bang bang a part with a hammer to get things to line up but even doing that took seconds and BAM - everything there fell right into place. This is WORTH the money. It's a sturdy couch and any smaller person or small family or person with a smaller space can enjoy. MEASURE your space/so you don't buy this and find that it's too small. I'm a real chicken with buying anything like this online. What if it's the wrong color? What if it arrives damaged? What if I can't put it together? ------- Throw all those worries away and look forward to enjoying this couch, I know I will! I can't speak for the other colors, but I'd say this is a true sand or warm mushroom color for sure. I was going to order the brown, but the reviews said and showed it to be a light gold, and I definitely didn't want that. If I had the space, I'd order another one and place them together in an "L" shape...but that's only happening in a larger apartment.
