The soft-close dampers ensure slow and smooth closure into cabinet and is compatible with face frame or frameless cabinetry. This was just installed and while this may have been our fault for not looking correctly- the 13 inch selection (which we though we needed for a 15 inch cabinet opening) is actually only 9 inches wide. It has built in levelers and adjustable length and width. Pretty good support for something so light and it's pretty easy to dismantle for storage.
