I can hang lots of coffee cups, place my coffee maker on the first shelf, which by the way, I can plug it right there on the plugs that are attached to the rack, then, I can store all my coffees, creamers, teas, and more, on the middle and bottom shelves. I do not advise hanging cast iron from the top. The dividers on the bottom are only for medium to large size pots and pans because otherwise they would fall through the divider.
