Appliance Lift Microwave

The Soft-Close Appliance Lift from Hardware Resources makes it easy to bring heavy appliances to working height and tuck them away when not in use. Designed for heavier countertop appliances such as stand mixers, air fryers, and juicers, this mechanical shelf system keeps countertops clutter-free with dedicated storage space and keeps appliances accessible when needed. The lift mechanism attaches to the interior of the cabinet and is available 3 size options. The soft-close dampers ensure slow and smooth closure into cabinet and is compatible with face frame or frameless cabinetry. Lift locks into place when fully extended, and the lift locks into place when fully extended. Three spring settings allow for use with appliances up to 45 lbs.

This was just installed and while this may have been our fault for not looking correctly- the 13 inch selection (which we though we needed for a 15 inch cabinet opening) is actually only 9 inches wide. Overall this is a good microwave and heats up food quickly. I like the flat clean look of the front door without the handle like the other models. This also makes it easy to clean. The controls however could use some improvement. Especially adding one touch start. It currently has a 30 second quick start button but to run it for a minute or two, you have to either enter the numbers and press start or press the 30 second button multiple times. The other auto features could also use better guided display as we have to constantly look up which setting to use. A WiFi connection to set it up would have been a nice feature. I like the cabinet. It was the right size and perfect for the space. However, I was very disappointed that instructions were not included as to how to put it together. After an exhaustive search we found this perfect ZLINE microwave to put in the corner of our new kitchen next to the pantry. This is an OTR model but it can be mounted as we did. It convenient yet out of the way, not taking up counters pace. We didn't care for the microwave in a drawer, so this was the fix. The tubular handle matched other appliances. My only thought was I wished the handle matched. For some reason it's shiny chrome on a stainless trimmed front? You don't notice as it's in the corner, but we did wonder.
