The Verde Set of 2 Round Mini Baker set carries Italian regional pottery tradition into modern single-serve cooking. Each lidded baker measures 6.5 by 5 by 3.75 inches with a 16oz capacity, finished in a rich Mediterranean olive-green glaze with side handles and a knob finial atop the fitted lid. The round shape is the dedicated vessel of Italian risotto al forno — risotto finished in the oven with mozzarella, parmesan, and breadcrumbs that caramelize into a golden crust. Mushroom, saffron, beet, and asparagus risotto all finish perfectly in the 16oz capacity. Beyond risotto, the round form handles baked polenta with gorgonzola, gnocchi al forno, individual pasticcio, oven-baked arancini in tomato-basil sauce, and small regional starters. The verde glaze evokes the painted ceramics of Deruta and Vietri sul Mare. Crafted from durable stoneware, dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe from slow risotto finishing through broiled cheese caps.

The collection is made with heavy stoneware and topped with a beautiful heavy application of reactive glaze making each piece substantial and very well made. The reactive glaze makes for a stunning array of colors likely found on hand-painted one-of-a-kind ceramics. Each piece is slightly unique due to the reactive glaze giving you a handcrafted feel. These pieces are all dishwasher safe, oven safe up to 300 degrees, and microwave safe (they will get warm). Each platter can be used for serving both hot and cold dishes. Feel free to go ahead and keep cool in the refrigerator or warm in the oven going from the kitchen to the table in style.

I LOVE THESE! The colors are gorgeous and they look elevated with a rustic vibe.. Jenn. St Johns, FL. Thu Sep 17 2026
