The drawer has wheels, so it slides in and out very easily, and it’s perfect for storing extra blankets, pillows, clothes, or other things that I don’t want sitting around the room. There is Velcro along the slat area that helps keep everything securely in place, so the slats don’t move around easily when the bed is being used. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference. We are pretty happy with the platform bed. Very protected in the box. The instructions were only pics, which was easy to understand.
