They are solid chairs, but they did require adjusting the feet to get them stable. You also hear the feet on the hardwood every time you pull the chairs in and out. Unfortunately, they looked very much like a big chain "furniture store" purchase. I was wanting something more refined. I did recover the cheap white fabric in a blue and white toile to make them look more elevated. I also monogrammed a couple of them as well. My order came very quickly, as promised. I chose to purchase a previously opened box. All bolts and nuts were in the box, scattered about, but all was there. The tool, if there was one, to put the stools together wasn’t in the box and the directions were not as well. But they were fairly easy to assemble once I got on a roll. We ordered 8 of these in light green, and I LOVE the color. It’s very pretty!! We have the chairs in our dining room, and they get used fairly often, and are holding up well after three years. Some paint has chipped in one or two places- not a deal breaker. We are pretty careful users. The assembly was like any other chairs back when my husband did it. These chairs looked similar to one’s in a furniture store for much less money and I’ve had good luck with Wayfair pieces before, so I ordered set of 2 to try. They were easy to put together, I was able to do pretty quickly myself except, the screws (10) 4 to attach seat, 6 to finish legs. There are not any pre-drilled holes for these screws. which made me nervous like other reviewers had stated, and I was afraid of the wood splitting. Therefore, to be safe I did have my husband use his impact drill to do the screws. They came out great, they’re very comfortable. Good quality went ahead and ordered four more. Only issue was some of the legs on bottom (see photos)were not finished with black and just unfinished wood. Don’t really see so not deal breaker for me, especially for great price. Also will need to get some type of floor protectors to add to legs. Overall, extremely happy with the quality and amazing price of these chairs. Would recommend and buy again. Shelley. NY. These chairs look really good, and have this mcm feel, exactly what I was looking for. I will say that they were a big tricky to build, the bolts didn’t align well.
