This box was so heavy to bring to my 2nd floor guest room. Definitely need 2 people. It took me 3 hours to put this bed together and I am pretty much a pro at assembly. My biggedt issue are screws are not labeled properly. In packaging they all got mixed up and so this was an issue. Other than that nothing hard just time consuming.. Crystal. Seneca, SC. First time online bed buyer and super happy with my purchase! In the midst of a bedroom remodel. Got king size in natural, arrived next day, no damage, had all parts, didn't take too long for two people to put together - appx 30 min; however, I think the spacers weren't the correct size because we ended up with two slats that weren't accounted for at the end, but we just respaced slightly and it was fine. I really appreciated the velcro for the slats so they don't move around when spacing - someone thought that through! You will also need a drill to screw in the slats. Headboard and footboard are not completely solid, but sturdy and the height is good for us. Also, purchased the Stearns and Foster Lux Estate Mattress and it fit perfectly. Happy customer - thanks Wayfair!. Germaine. Dexter, MI. Tue Aug 25 2026

The headboard came with a big crack in a panel. I got the bed in a few days and the replacement will not come for a week. I picked this one partly because of the quick shipping and will I have to wait to get the broken replacement parts. It does come in a ton of pieces. You have to put it all together. There are 42 steps and some of the directions are not clear. It looks sturdy and it will look good with the other furniture we have.. Tina. AZ. Thu Jun 04 2026

Anchor your bedroom ensemble in a handsome style with this platform bed. A versatile design that can pair well with any aesthetic from classic to contemporary, it showcases a clean-lined frame crafted tropical mahogany solid wood and mahogany wood veneers. This bed is finished in a hue, which highlights the subtle grain details and brings depth to the molding. A box spring is not required: This bed features one center slat, four center legs supports, and twelve slats to support a mattress of your choice.

The bed itself is solid. It’s good quality. It took about 45 minutes to assemble but wasn’t difficult. Unfortunately, this is the 3rd piece of furniture that has arrived damaged this week with the first two not yet resolved. The Wayfair rep told me I had to repackage the item and drop them off at FedEx which is not my responsibility. I’m waiting to hear from a supervisor but haven’t and that was 4 days ago. We just bought a new home and we have many more rooms to furnish. I am a Wayfair Rewards member and have been very happy with all previous orders up until the last 3 shipments. If this isn’t resolved I won’t be purchasing anything else. We simply do not have the time to assemble, reassemble or take damaged items to FedEx. Disappointing. I will update my review once there is a resolution.. Christa. Lebanon Ohio. Sat Jul 11 2026

A wonderful wooden bed. The directions are very detailed. When they say don't tighten the screws until the very end of the steps, believe them! It won't assemble otherwise. The headboard is a very heavy and substantial piece. A simple but great look. It's a little lower than I expected but I should have paid more attention to the dimensions. Yet I'm very pleased with it and it looks nicer than I imagined.. Tamara. Manassas, VA. Thu Apr 30 2026
