I think I can fill it in with marker to make it less noticeable, so no big deal. Still have to attach the legs but will need another person to help with that. These nightstands are very heavy. We had some electric cord covers left over from setting up our reclining couch that we used on the backs of the end tables to cover the ugly big black cord hanging down the back side of the cabinet.
