The trunk is a beautiful piece of sturdy solid wood. I purchased it because it has the black metal legs and front handle that complements my current industrial bedroom furniture. Only four stars because it arrived damaged in two places. One at the left hinge attachment to the wood trunk, the other is a split in the wood on the right side of the trunk where the leg attaches. We were able to nail the wooden block into place to attach the metal leg securely and hopefully prevent further splintering. The quality control needs to be in place for both the preparation of the furniture for shipment AND ensuring the shipper HANDLES THE FURNITURE WITH CARE DURING SHIPMENT. This trunk is the perfect storage solution. It's decorated with black leather, arranged in a quilted pattern. There are two brown leather straps running across the front to enhance its beauty. A handle at each side assures easy lifting.

Arrived intact as box inside a box. It appears as pictured. Knocking one star as there were several hanging threads to trim and the trunk doesn't sit perfectly flat, but both easily fixed. I have difficulty envisioning printed dimensions so think of this as a couple of sneaker boxes stacked together with the top one domed.
