This was initially going to be a 1 star review because when the bookcase arrived, every shelf and the bottom of the bookcase was damaged. I changed it to 4 stars because of how great the product support has been. I submitted the issue to wayfair and they put me in touch with the manufacturer, who offered to send a replacement if I sent the damaged one back. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning such a large item so I asked for a partial refund and they offered 25 back, which I felt like was fair. They also responded every time in a timely manner. So while the product did arrive damaged, customer service was excellent and this experience won’t deter me from ordering from wayfair again.. This bookcase is beautiful and looks just like it’s listed picture. I love that it is REAL wood and not particle board. The delivery was quick and smooth. This is so pretty. I bought the white. My husband assembled rather quickly. He asked where I want the shelves because once you push the pegs in, they're hard to get out to readjust. Definitely a solid piece that I'm not afraid to fill with books.. Michele. Myrtle Beach Sc. Mon Jul 27 2026

Gorgeous linen white color that matches our walls perfectly. Shipping took longer than expected. I ordered 2 of these and each has some slight imperfections from handling. Luckily, it's in hidden areas not visible. I wasn't expected these to be already built. Shelves are not easily adjustable because they come screwed in place. We use for our kids' books.. Eileen. TX. I purchased the 3-shelf size, 36" H X 48" wide. It holds my entire cookbook collection and does double duty as a divider between the foyer and kitchen/dining area. Beautiful, heavy wood in the mission style. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the backing. I wish furniture manufacturers would stop to consider that not every piece of furniture is going to be put against a wall, so it would be nice to have a decent backing. The back of this bookcase is some sort of shiny, vinyl covered panel and the color is awful. Maybe it was meant to be faux marble, but they missed by a mile. It simply looks like someone threw dirt on it then watered it!. Gloria. Exton, PA. Sat Apr 18 2026

The bookcase itself is very nice, but some holes didn't line up when putting it together. Also the top portion and the bottom portion do not line up flush across the front. They are offset from each other. I did not see anything explaining that the pegs that hold the shelves are made of plastic. I have bought other bookcases that use pegs to set the shelves onto, but they are metal.. Jane. Warren, OH. Sat Jun 27 2026

Bracket-style legs complete the piece with stable support and classic character suited to a polished office setting.

This shelf is beautiful but I am very disappointed that the matching desk I ordered was canceled. Now I'm stuck with a non matching set and wayfair wouldn't give me store credit for the shelf or allow me to return the item because it was already assembled. The shelf was great, but the service after wayfair canceled my item was not good at all.. Aubrey. Eielson Afb, AK. Mon May 18 2026
