You would expect a Chinese knock off of a carved Indian sofa to "off gas". Nope. Not a single smell. This is the most expensive couch that I ever owned, and worth ever penny. Assembly was pretty straightforward, and it feels sturdy once put together. The cushions are on the firmer side at first, but they’ve started to soften up with use. I also appreciate that it doesn’t take up an overwhelming amount of space while still feeling roomy enough to sit comfortably.
