The bed frame is lovely. I put it together by myself in about 2.5 hours. I did add extra slats because I worried that the spacing between them would be too far apart for my mattress. The color is SLIGHTLY warmer than pictured as others have said but it’s not like WARM. It’s been study so far and we love how it looks in our room. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. I was able to put the bed together myself. The hardest part was attaching the side panels. It was much easier to attach to the headboard to the side panels (I just laid the headboard down flat and put the side rails perpendicular and put in the screws, however then to hold all that and attach to the footboard was a little struggle. I used some of the packaging material to set up a lift. I think the look is very western, Victorian and rustic. This is a gorgeous, high quality piece of furniture. Overall, I am very satisfied. However, there are 2 sets of holes in the headboard where the side rails attach. Since we had to use the innermost set of holes, the outermost set of holes show, past the side rails, which looks a bit tacky.
