The bed frame is lovely. I put it together by myself in about 2.5 hours. I did add extra slats because I worried that the spacing between them would be too far apart for my mattress. The color is SLIGHTLY warmer than pictured as others have said but it’s not like WARM. It’s been study so far and we love how it looks in our room. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. Our king size Sleep Number bed fits great with room for the head and foot to lift. The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill. This is a gorgeous, high quality piece of furniture. Overall, I am very satisfied. However, there are 2 sets of holes in the headboard where the side rails attach. Since we had to use the innermost set of holes, the outermost set of holes show, past the side rails, which looks a bit tacky.
