From the farm hand crossing the stream with horse and wagon to the precise species of tree, this scene was built upon painstakingly accurate outdoor sketches rendered with exacting brushstrokes in the studio. British artist Constable is largely responsible for reviving the importance of landscape painting in the 19th century, ushering in the age of the Impressionists. The authentic stretched canvas replica painting captures the original work's texture, depth of color, and even its subtle brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. The replica 4.375" wide, European style, bright gold-toned, ribbed frame is cast in quality designer resin with an acanthus leaf and floret border that draws the eye toward the beautiful image. Proudly printed and framed in the USA using imported molding.

As she keeps a watchful eye, a beautiful mademoiselle is pulled into a stolen kiss by her young lover. Painting in the Rococo style then fashionable in France, Fragonard's work reflects the period's frivolity, played out in fluid lines, lush, light-imbued fabrics and gracefully posed figures. Fragonard's delicate color and spontaneous brushwork are evident in this joyful piece. The authentic stretched canvas replica painting captures the original work's texture, depth of color, and even its subtle brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. With bas-relief organic styling, the multi-tiered, replica European style 3.25" wide frame is cast in quality designer resin and highlighted with an aged gold-toned finish. Proudly printed and framed in the USA using imported molding.

At the end of the famous balcony scene, Shakespeare's Romeo says to his Juliet, "Farewell, farewell, one kiss and I'll descend." Bathed in the sunset's glow, Juliet in her linen chemise bestows a passionate kiss on brave Romeo cloaked in red for love. Voted Britain's most romantic artwork, Dicksee's detailed tale of eternal love, and longing evoke feeling while passion flowers climb up the white column evoking desire. As a portraitist, Victorian Frank Dicksee exhibited at the Royal Academy and was particularly renowned for his series of oil paintings of Shakespearean characters. Considered a Pre-Raphaelite painter in style and technique, Dicksee painted elegant society portraits as well as biblical, literary and historical figures. He served as leader of the Royal Academy and was knighted in 1925. The authentic stretched canvas replica painting captures the original work's texture, depth of color, and even its subtle brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. In a quite unique and profoundly contemporary scene of urban life, passengers including a mother and her children, a milliner, a nurse and a fashionable couple, ride an omnibus past to Hyde Park or Kensington Gardens. Few details are lost to the artist, including the advertisement for Pears Soap and the passing Hansom cab. Irish-born artist Joy studied in London and Paris, establishing himself as a history and genre painter who frequently exhibited at the Royal Academy. The authentic stretched canvas replica captures the original painting's texture, depth of color, and even its brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. It is surrounded by an imported, antique gold-toned, delicately sculpted 4" wide designer resin frame with a leaf motif. Proudly printed and framed in the USA using imported molding.

Ophelia, a character from Shakespeare's play, was driven out of her mind when her lover, Hamlet, murders her father, drowns herself in a stream. One of the founders of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, Victorian Millais's version is beloved for its painstakingly natural realism, a practice rare in the period. The flowers near this legendary beauty are all symbolic: the daisy for forsaken love, the violets for faithfulness and chastity, and the poppies for death.

A historic fascination with the ancient world no doubt prompted the Roman obelisk, temples and statues that form a most theatrical gathering in this 18th century panorama. Monet's very first professional work, this canvas was painted when the artist was only 18 years old!
