Unfortunately my original order was defective: The predrilled X-leg holes did not match up to those in the seat, & could not be re-drilled because of brass fittings in the seat's predrilled holes. With an ultra-soft rag, simply dust the surface of the tabletop and legs avoiding vigorous scrubbing as cedar is a softwood and can dent and scratch easily. It is also recommended that a sealer be applied occasionally to retain its color and stability.
