Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. Assembly was a little tricky because the leaf did not align with the pre-drilled holes. Moving the hardware fixed this. OK, first of all let me just say we did have an issue with shipping. The first one arrived and it had a blemish on the top. It had been hit at some point during delivery, so we contacted Wayfair and they were more than happy to send us another table. So we returned that table and another table arrived about five days later and everything was great with it so Wayfair itself is great. FedEx probably needs to be a little more careful. The pedestal for the table to sit on is attractive and easy enough to put together if you turn it sideways and not straight up and down, the top was easy to assemble, but there seems to be less than perfection in the adjoining pieces of the two table tops and whatever I tried, I could not get the entire length to close completely however, it’s still beautiful. We put a runner down the length of the seam in the two tops and you can’t see it and it feels really strong and sturdy and as attractive and easy enough to assemble if you have some Mechanical ability that’s all.. This table looked very cute and has a super vintage design. It is on casters so it is such a good choice for small homes or apartments. This table was very intimidating to put together. And I nearly broke on step 8 where there are several hinges that need to be put on in a very tight space. This step should be completed before step 7. Where the top of the table is put on. But regardless ot was impossible to complete. The tablr also did noy come with the folding chairs despite being pictured with them. It is my understanding that butterfly tables usually cone with the chairs that fold up into the storage compartment. So this should be more clear. Chairs are sold separately.
