I'm going to use my table as a desk as well as for meals, so I wanted a table with legs for extra stability, and I was surprised to find out it's difficult to find a 40-42" table with legs that doesn't look extremely basic. This table is absolutely gorgeous and very sturdy. I managed to get both leaves in to extend the table without assistance, as well, though I haven't tried taking them back out yet.
