Putting this lamp together was a breeze … did it in under 10 mins. It looks great on our entryway table where our accent colors are black and gold themes. The marble base is substantial and this lamp will not tip over. It has 2 light sockets and puts out a decent amount of ambient light in the space. There is some weight overall to the lamp and it looks more expensive than it actually is. The gold color is quite nice and not cheap looking. I would not use it in my master bedroom as I prefer lamps the cast light in all directions, including upwards. But for ambient secondary lighting, this is perfect! I love it! Really like this lamp although I must admit the description of the shade being “white” and the photos making it look more “yellowish” were both incorrect. I bought 2 of these to be used next to my all white bedding set and the lamp shade panes are clear and kind of.a light gray. Given that, I moved them to the other bedroom with more of those tones and it looked perfect in that bedroom. It looks it’s absolute best when lit up. Soft and shimmery. Beautiful!
