I think this is a very attractive piece of furniture. It looks like it could be an antique or modern! For me, it works very well in my office and holds quite a bit. I assembled it without help and it took about two hours. I did use an electric drill and as others have mentioned, it took a bit of finagling to get the doors straight. I keep walking by this sideboard buffet cabinet and keep falling in love each time!!! I adore this cabinet! It looks soo beautiful in my dining room, I wonder why I waited so long! The piece is VERY heavy. I was not able to push or pull the box in house, I had to unpack the box outside and bring each piece in separately. It took about an hour to assemble. I didnt need any tools, it came with everything I needed. Pay attention to the directions, there are alot, but it goes quick and easy, the doors dont sit perfectly when you first put them on, the directions show you how you adjust them to perfection AFTER you assemble them. Super easy peesy, just a little heavy, but nothing I couldnt work around. It really made my empty, dull dining room become something that makes me smile. I would recommend this sideboard 1000%!!!.
