This is a lovely addition to my dinette. I have a small table and the size is just right. I wanted it to hang 32" above the table at the lowest point of the light so I took off one 6" bar while assembling it. It is very easy to assemble. I haven't hung it yet because electrical tape is needed, but it looks fairly easy and the instructions are clear but the print is small. The shades or very pretty and they seem sturdy enough for the placement of the light.it takes 40 watt candlebra bulbs. I will use a soft white and add a dimmer switch to it for ambiance.
