The color is definitely interesting as it’s not a solid brass or gold color. It’s gold with some dark tone accents. The gold color is not very metallic or shimmery and the dark tones are a brownish color. I personally like the different tones and find it to be really fun and different. Assembly was very easy, took 5-10 minutes. I get nervous when I’m opening anything that comes with glass, but everything was packaged nicely. Ove this table. Has a great patina. Not black yet not brass metal. More like an oil rubbed bronze. Ive had it for almost a year now and it adds so much to my living room.
