Antique Black Door Knocker

This is very well made and heavy (cast iron?). I'm giving 4 stars because I bought this door knocker to use as a door knocker, but it arrived without holes to mount ( 'holes' are filled-in with cast iron ), so I couldn't mount my door knocker as a door knocker, so I repurposed my door knocker into a door stop and I'm very happy now with my new door stop... that can also be used as a floor knocker (if I had downstairs neighbors, it would be a fun way to annoy them).. Finnish door knocker - black

It’s nice and heavy, but the photos on the website suggest a greenish tinge and the product is actually just black. Would have preferred it to be the color represented on the website. I’m guessing the lighter green one is more like brushed nickel, so likely more silver. Not sure why the color is so off.. Heather. Saint Paul, MN. Fri Aug 15 2025
