So far so good. I prefer this to zipper versions. I haven't got to really see what this is about in terms of use & wash but it feels good like waterproof but not crinkley. This mattress pad is nicely made. The fabric used is thick and of coarse waterproof, which is the main reason why I got this. To protect the mattress underneath from any accidents by people or pets.
