Couch is extremely well made…all fabric seams are straight and frame is solid. It is firm for seating but not unforgiving or uncomfortable..I feel it will hold up well. Fabric is a blue gray pillow ticking and high quality. I sprayed with Scotchgard but think spills would roll off anyway. The platformbase that goes underneath the cushions doesn’t seem to sit exactly where it’s supposed to. I believe it will still be fine to sit on and use, but it’s definitely something worth noting. I also ordered the matching loveseat and had the exact same issue with that piece, so it doesn’t seem to be isolated to just the sofa.
