It took us several hours to finish putting it together mostly because we don't often construct things. When you get to the part where you attach an inner ring to the outer legs, we used the large box it came in to hold it in place by placing it under the metal pieces- which balanced it and held it in place while you screw in place.. We love these. We purchased the 'green' color chairs (the color to me is like kermit the frog green). The are a little more light weight than I thought they would be, I hope they don't blow over in a strong wind. They seem really well constructed. One of the legs on one of the 6 was slightly bent upon arrival. I bet with some effort I could bend it back. They are aluminum not steel. I’m very happy with this gray patio table. Assembly was surprisingly easy, even though some of the parts were mislabeled. It’s lightweight enough to move around but still feels sturdy and well made. I'm so disappointed! When I tried to take the chairs out of the box it kept resisting so I turned the box over and the bottom chair had all four legs sticking out! I pulled the bottom chair out and didn't even have to unwrap the chair because the first thing I saw was scratches on the front of the arm. The box is flimsy and other than the thin paper wrapped around the chairs, there is absolutely no padding in the box. Horrible packaging. I'll contact customer service and see how they'll handle this issue. Update...Customer service was wonderful and sent me a replacement set. That box was delivered in worse shape than the first box. Contacted customer service again...I ended up taking the best of 8 chairs and the other four were returned at no cost to me and they even picked it up from my home. The chairs are well built, sturdy but light in weight. The armrests are real teak wood, beautiful and cool to the touch in the sun. The picture is right on with the color, they are taupe.
