These were slightly overpriced, in my opinion, but ultimately exactly what we needed--we had a height restriction, as well as a desired depth--and are serving us nicely. Assembly note: you have to drill holes in the doors, for the hinges, and I was a little worried that was going to lead to issues, but it worked out fine...I didn't have to adjust the doors at all, really (maybe I got lucky). Otherwise, these look great and do their job admirably! (tip: I used some of the cardboard from the box to support them on the carpet...without it, they weren't sitting quite straight / evenly). I purchased two of these storage units a few years ago, and they’ve been surprisingly versatile! We originally used both in our playroom to store kids’ toys. After moving last year and as the kids have gotten older, I repurposed one for our laundry room to store cleaning supplies, pool towels, and other household essentials. Since I still have a toddler, I added a childproof lock to keep cleaning products safely out of reach. There’s plenty of storage space, and we typically keep a small step stool on the bottom shelf as well. The second unit is in our basement and is used for miscellaneous household storage. I love that the shelves are adjustable, making it easy to customize the space for different items as our needs change. One thing to note is that we did encounter a few imperfections during assembly, so I wouldn’t recommend these if you’re planning a perfectly seamless, custom built-in look. However, for everyday storage, they’re attractive, functional, and hold a ton of stuff. I’ve been happy with how easily we’ve been able to repurpose them throughout our home over the years!. Mandy. Crafted from worn oak for a found, heritage look, naturally beautiful cabinetry offers generous storage space by way of roomy shelving and four lower drawers.

This is easily my favorite purchase from Birch Lane. It’s expensive, but after seeing it in person, I think it’s worth every penny. This is the kind of substantial, beautiful piece of furniture that you keep for years and eventually pass down. I currently use mine in the kitchen for additional storage, and it’s incredibly spacious. It holds a surprising amount while still looking like a beautiful piece of furniture rather than just a storage cabinet. The quality and craftsmanship are excellent, and it has so much character. I genuinely enjoy just looking at it. If you’re hesitant because of the price, I was too—but this is one purchase I absolutely do not regret.. Ash. Sacramento, CA. Sun Aug 09 2026

Very nice quality and appearance. I've gotten a lot of compliments. Decent amount of storage, sturdy enough for the purchase price, paint is consistent with website color. I bought two for my folding clothes and got the assembly service. I'm very happy and recommend this wall unit. One note about the packaging - it is like getting into Fort Knox. The packing is very protective but I had to get the assembler to open some of the larger boxes. Highly recommend using assembly service - it's a good value compared to Task Rabbit or other services.. One star removed because the doors are not lined up. I’m hoping I can fix it by rescrewing the hinges to move them slightly down, but I haven’t tried that yet. Other than that, it’s a really nice cabinet. I purchased it for my primary bedroom. Very thick, sturdy walls. The package arrived with some significant damage, but luckily the cabinet parts were very well packed and insulated, so no damage to the cabinet.
